He
will
deliver
his
soul
from
going
into
the
pit,
and
his
life
shall
see
the
light.
Psalms 30:3
3
O
LORD,
thou
hast
brought
up
my
soul
from
the
grave:
thou
hast
kept
me
alive,
that
I
should
not
go
down
to
the
pit.
Psalms 49:15
15
But
God
will
redeem
my
soul
from
the
power
of
the
grave:
for
he
shall
receive
me.
Selah.
Psalms 103:3

forgiveth
all
thine
iniquities;
who
healeth
all
thy
diseases;

1
When
he
was
come
down
from
the
mountain,
great
multitudes
followed
him.
2
And,
behold,
there
came
a
leper
and
worshipped
him,
saying,
Lord,
if
thou
wilt,
thou
canst
make
me
clean.
3
And
Jesus
put
forth
his
hand,
and
touched
him,
saying,
I
will;
be
thou
clean.
And
immediately
his
leprosy
was
cleansed.
4
And
Jesus
saith
unto
him,
See
thou
tell
no
man;
but
go
thy
way,
shew
thyself
to
the
priest,
and
offer
the
gift
that
Moses
commanded,
for
a
testimony
unto
them.
5
And
when
Jesus
was
entered
into
Capernaum,
there
came
unto
him
a
centurion,
beseeching
him,
6
And
saying,
Lord,
my
servant
lieth
at
home
sick
of
the
palsy,
grievously
tormented.
7
And
Jesus
saith
unto
him,
I
will
come
and
heal
him.
8
The
centurion
answered
and
said,
Lord,
I
am
not
worthy
that
thou
shouldest
come
under
my
roof:
but
speak
the
word
only,
and
my
servant
shall
be
healed.
9
For
I
am
a
man
under
authority,
having
soldiers
under
me:
and
I
say
to
this
man,
Go,
and
he
goeth;
and
to
another,
Come,
and
he
cometh;
and
to
my
servant,
Do
this,
and
he
doeth
it.
10
When
Jesus
heard
it,
he
marvelled,
and
said
to
them
that
followed,
Verily
I
say
unto
you,
I
have
not
found
so
great
faith,
no,
not
in
Israel.
11
And
I
say
unto
you,
That
many
shall
come
from
the
east
and
west,
and
shall
sit
down
with
Abraham,
and
Isaac,
and
Jacob,
in
the
kingdom
of
heaven.
12
But
the
children
of
the
kingdom
shall
be
cast
out
into
outer
darkness:
there
shall
be
weeping
and
gnashing
of
teeth.
13
And
Jesus
said
unto
the
centurion,
Go
thy
way;
and
as
thou
hast
believed,
so
be
it
done
unto
thee.
And
his
servant
was
healed
in
the
selfsame
hour.
14
And
when
Jesus
was
come
into
Peter’s
house,
he
saw
his
wife’s
mother
laid,
and
sick
of
a
fever.
15
And
he
touched
her
hand,
and
the
fever
left
her:
and
she
arose,
and
ministered
unto
them.
16
When
the
even
was
come,
they
brought
unto
him
many
that
were
possessed
with
devils:
and
he
cast
out
the
spirits
with
his
word,
and
healed
all
that
were
sick:
17
That
it
might
be
fulfilled
which
was
spoken
by
Esaias
the
prophet,
saying,
Himself
took
our
infirmities,
and
bare
our
sicknesses.
18
Now
when
Jesus
saw
great
multitudes
about
him,
he
gave
commandment
to
depart
unto
the
other
side.
19
And
a
certain
scribe
came,
and
said
unto
him,
Master,
I
will
follow
thee
whithersoever
thou
goest.
20
And
Jesus
saith
unto
him,
The
foxes
have
holes,
and
the
birds
of
the
air
have
nests;
but
the
Son
of
man
hath
not
where
to
lay
his
head.
21
And
another
of
his
disciples
said
unto
him,
Lord,
suffer
me
first
to
go
and
bury
my
father.
22
But
Jesus
said
unto
him,
Follow
me;
and
let
the
dead
bury
their
dead.
23
And
when
he
was
entered
into
a
ship,
his
disciples
followed
him.
24
And,
behold,
there
arose
a
great
tempest
in
the
sea,
insomuch
that
the
ship
was
covered
with
the
waves:
but
he
was
asleep.
25
And
his
disciples
came
to
him,
and
awoke
him,
saying,
Lord,
save
us:
we
perish.
26
And
he
saith
unto
them,
Why
are
ye
fearful,
O
ye
of
little
faith?
Then
he
arose,
and
rebuked
the
winds
and
the
sea;
and
there
was
a
great
calm.
27
But
the
men
marvelled,
saying,
What
manner
of
man
is
this,
that
even
the
winds
and
the
sea
obey
him!
28
And
when
he
was
come
to
the
other
side
into
the
country
of
the
Gergesenes,
there
met
him
two
possessed
with
devils,
coming
out
of
the
tombs,
exceeding
fierce,
so
that
no
man
might
pass
by
that
way.
29
And,
behold,
they
cried
out,
saying,
What
have
we
to
do
with
thee,
Jesus,
thou
Son
of
God?
art
thou
come
hither
to
torment
us
before
the
time?
30
And
there
was
a
good
way
off
from
them
an
herd
of
many
swine
feeding.
31
So
the
devils
besought
him,
saying,
If
thou
cast
us
out,
suffer
us
to
go
away
into
the
herd
of
swine.
32
And
he
said
unto
them,
Go.
And
when
they
were
come
out,
they
went
into
the
herd
of
swine:
and,
behold,
the
whole
herd
of
swine
ran
violently
down
a
steep
place
into
the
sea,
and
perished
in
the
waters.
33
And
they
that
kept
them
fled,
and
went
their
ways
into
the
city,
and
told
every
thing,
and
what
was
befallen
to
the
possessed
of
the
devils.
34
And,
behold,
the
whole
city
came
out
to
meet
Jesus:
and
when
they
saw
him,
they
besought
him
that
he
would
depart
out
of
their
coasts.

to
the
centurion,
`Go,
and

thou
didst

his
young
man
was
healed
in
that
hour.
14
And
Jesus
having
come
into
the
house
of
Peter,
saw
his
mother-in-law
laid,
and
fevered,
15
and
he
touched
her
hand,
and
the
fever
left
her,
and
she
arose,
and
was

to
them.
16
And
evening
having
come,
they
brought
to
him
many
demoniacs,
and
he
did
cast
out
the
spirits
with
a
word,
and
did
heal
all
who
were
ill,

the
prophet,

18
And
Jesus
having
seen
great
multitudes
about
him,
did
command
to
depart
to
the
other
side;
19
and
a
certain
scribe
having
come,
said
to
him,
`Teacher,
I
will
follow
thee
wherever
thou
mayest
go;`
20
and
Jesus
saith
to
him,
`The
foxes

and
the

the
heaven

but
the
Son
of
Man
hath

he
may
lay
the

21
And
another
of
his
disciples
said
to
him,
`Sir,
permit
me
first
to
depart
and
to
bury
my
father;`
22
and
Jesus
said
to
him,
`Follow
me,
and
suffer
the
dead
to
bury
their
own
dead.`
23
And
when
he
entered
into
the
boat
his
disciples
did
follow
him,
24
and
lo,
a
great
tempest
arose
in
the
sea,
so
that
the
boat
was
being
covered
by
the
waves,
but
he
was
sleeping,
25
and
his
disciples
having
come
to
him,
awoke
him,
saying,
`Sir,
save
us;
we
are
perishing.`
26
And
he
saith
to
them,
`Why
are
ye
fearful,
O
ye
of
little
faith?`
Then
having
risen,
he
rebuked
the
winds
and
the
sea,
and
there
was
a
great
calm;
27
and
the
men
wondered,
saying,
`What
kind
--
is
this,
that
even
the
wind
and
the
sea
do
obey
him?`
28
And
he
having
come
to
the
other
side,
to
the
region
of
the
Gergesenes,
there
met
him
two
demoniacs,
coming
forth
out
of
the
tombs,
very
fierce,
so
that
no
one
was
able
to
pass
over
by
that
way,
29
and
lo,
they
cried
out,
saying,
`What
--
to
us
and
to
thee,
Jesus,
Son
of
God?
didst
thou
come
hither,
before
the
time,
to
afflict
us?`
30
And
there
was
far
off
from
them
a
herd
of
many
swine
feeding,
31
and
the
demons
were
calling
on
him,
saying,
`If
thou
dost
cast
us
forth,
permit
us
to
go
away
to
the
herd
of
the
swine;`
32
and
he
saith
to
them,
`Go.`
And
having
come
forth,
they
went
to
the
herd
of
the
swine,
and
lo,
the
whole
herd
of
the
swine
rushed
down
the
steep,
to
the
sea,
and
died
in
the
waters,
33
and
those
feeding
did
flee,
and,
having
gone
to
the
city,
they
declared
all,
and
the
matter
of
the
demoniacs.
34
And
lo,
all
the
city
came
forth
to
meet
Jesus,
and
having

him,
they

27
And
the
men
were
amazed
and
said,
"What
sort
of
person
is
this?
Even
the
winds
and
the
sea
obey
him!"
28
When
he
came
to
the
other
side,
to
the
region
of
the
Gadarenes,
two
demon-possessed
men
coming
from
the
tombs
met
him.
They
were
extremely
violent,
so
that
no
one
was
able
to
pass
by
that
way.
29
They
cried
out,
"Son
of
God,
leave
us
alone!
Have
you
come
here
to
torment
us
before
the
time?"
30
A
large
herd
of
pigs
was
feeding
some
distance
from
them.
31
Then
the
demons
begged
him,
"If
you
drive
us
out,
send
us
into
the
herd
of
pigs."
32
And
he
said,
"Go!"
So
they
came
out
and
went
into
the
pigs,
and
the
herd
rushed
down
the
steep
slope
into
the
lake
and
drowned
in
the
water.
33
The
herdsmen
ran
off,
went
into
the
town,
and
told
everything
that
had
happened
to
the
demon-possessed
men.
34
Then
the
entire
town
came
out
to
meet
Jesus.
And
when
they
saw
him,
they
begged
him
to
leave
their
region.

Jesus
came
down
from
the
hill,
and
a
large
crowd
followed
him.
2
Then
a
man
sick
with
leprosy
came
to
him.
The
man
bowed
down
before
Jesus
and
said,
"Lord,
you
have
the
power
to
heal
me
if
you
want."
3
Jesus
touched
the
man.
He
said,
"I
want
to
heal
you.
Be
healed!"
Immediately
the
man
was
healed
from
his
leprosy.
4
Then
Jesus
said
to
him,
"Don't
tell
anyone
about
what
happened.
Go
and
show
yourself
to
the
priest.
And
offer

This

5
Jesus
went
to
the
city
of
Capernaum.
When
he
entered
the
city,
an
army
officer
came
to
him
and
begged
for
help.
6
The
officer
said,
"Lord,
my
servant
is
very
sick
at
home
in
bed.
He
can't
move
his
body
and
has
much
pain."
7
Jesus
said
to
the
officer,
"I
will
go
and
heal
him."
8
The
officer
answered,
"Lord,
I
am
not
good
enough
for
you
to
come
into
my
house.
You
need
only
to
give
the
order,
and
my
servant
will
be
healed.
9
I
know
this,
because
I
understand
authority.
There
are
people
who
have
authority
over
me,
and
I
have
soldiers
under
my
authority.
I
tell
one
soldier,
'Go,'
and
he
goes.
I
tell
another
soldier,
'Come,'
and
he
comes.
I
say
to
my
servant,
'Do
this,'
and
my
servant
obeys
me."
10
When
Jesus
heard
this,
he
was
amazed.
He
said
to
those
who
were
with
him,
"The
truth
is,
this
man
has
more
faith
than
anyone
I
have
found,
even
in
Israel.
11
Many
people
will
come
from
the
east
and
from
the
west.
These
people
will
sit
and
eat
with
Abraham,
Isaac,
and
Jacob
in
God's
kingdom.
12
And
those
who
should
have
the
kingdom
will
be
thrown
out.
They
will
be
thrown
outside
into
the
darkness,
where
people
will
cry
and
grind
their
teeth
with
pain."
13
Then
Jesus
said
to
the
officer,
"Go
home.
Your
servant
will
be
healed
the
way
you
believed
he
would."
Right
then
his
servant
was
healed.
14
Jesus
went
to
Peter's
house.
He
saw
that
Peter's
mother-in-law
was
in
bed
with
a
high
fever.
15
He
touched
her
hand,
and
the
fever
left
her.
Then
she
stood
up
and
began
to
serve
him.
16
That
evening
people
brought
to
Jesus
many
people
who
had
demons
inside
them.
He
spoke
and
the
demons
left
the
people.
He
healed
all
those
who
were
sick.
17
So
Jesus
made
clear
the
full
meaning
of
what
Isaiah
the
prophet
said,
"He
took
away
our
diseases
and
carried
away
our
sicknesses."
18
When
Jesus
saw
the
crowd
around
him,
he
told
his
followers
to
go
to
the
other
side
of
the
lake.
19
Then
a
teacher
of
the
law
came
to
him
and
said,
"Teacher,
I
will
follow
you
any
place
you
go."
20
Jesus
said
to
him,
"The
foxes
have
holes
to
live
in.
The
birds
have
nests.
But
the
Son
of
Man
has
no
place
to
rest."
21
Another
of
Jesus'
followers
said
to
him,
"Lord,
I
will
follow
you
too,
but
let
me
go
and
bury
my
father
first."
22
But
Jesus
said
to
him,
"Follow
me,
and
let
those
who
are
dead
bury
their
own
dead."
23
Jesus
got
into
a
boat,
and
his
followers
went
with
him.
24
After
the
boat
left
the
shore,
a
very
bad
storm
began
on
the
lake.
The
waves
covered
the
boat.
But
Jesus
was
sleeping.
25
The
followers
went
to
him
and
woke
him.
They
said,
"Lord,
save
us!
We
will
drown!"
26
Jesus
answered,
"Why
are
you
afraid?
You
don't
have
enough
faith."
Then
he
stood
up
and
gave
a
command
to
the
wind
and
the
water.
The
wind
stopped,
and
the
lake
became
very
calm.
27
The
men
were
amazed.
They
said,
"What
kind
of
man
is
this?
Even
the
wind
and
the
water
obey
him!"
28
Jesus
arrived
at
the
other
side
of
the
lake
in
the
country
of
the
Gadarene
people.
There,
two
men
who
had
demons
inside
them
came
to
him.
They
lived
in
the
burial
caves
and
were
so
dangerous
that
no
one
could
use
the
road
by
those
caves.
29
They
came
to
Jesus
and
shouted,
"What
do
you
want
with
us,
Son
of
God?
Did
you
come
here
to
punish
us
before
the
right
time?"
30
Near
that
place
there
was
a
large
herd
of
pigs
feeding.
31
The
demons
begged
Jesus,
"If
you
make
us
leave
these
men,
please
send
us
into
that
herd
of
pigs."
32
Jesus
said
to
them,
"Go!"
So
the
demons
left
the
men
and
went
into
the
pigs.
Then
the
whole
herd
of
pigs
ran
down
the
hill
into
the
lake,
and
all
were
drowned.
33
The
men
who
had
the
work
of
caring
for
the
pigs
ran
away.
They
went
into
town
and
told
the
people
everything
that
happened,
especially
about
the
men
who
had
the
demons.
34
Then
the
whole
town
went
out
to
see
Jesus.
When
the
people
saw
him,
they
begged
him
to
leave
their
area.

am
not
worthy
for
you
to
come
into
my
house.
You
only
need
to
command
it,
and
my
servant
will
be
healed.
9
I,
too,
am
a
man
under
the
authority
of
others,
and
I
have
soldiers
under
my
command.
I
tell
one
soldier,
'Go,'
and
he
goes.
I
tell
another
soldier,
'Come,'
and
he
comes.
I
say
to
my
servant,
'Do
this,'
and
my
servant
does
it.
10
When
Jesus
heard
this,
he
was
amazed.
He
said
to
those
who
were
following
him,
"I
tell
you
the
truth,
this
is
the
greatest
faith
I
have
found,
even
in
Israel.
11
Many
people
will
come
from
the
east
and
from
the
west
and
will
sit
and
eat
with
Abraham,
Isaac,
and
Jacob
in
the
kingdom
of
heaven.
12
But
those
people
who
should
be
in
the
kingdom
will
be
thrown
outside
into
the
darkness,
where
people
will
cry
and
grind
their
teeth
with
pain."
13
Then
Jesus
said
to
the
officer,
"Go
home.
Your
servant
will
be
healed
just
as
you
believed
he
would."
And
his
servant
was
healed
that
same
hour.
14
When
Jesus
went
to
Peter's
house,
he
saw
that
Peter's
mother-in-law
was
sick
in
bed
with
a
fever.
15
Jesus
touched
her
hand,
and
the
fever
left
her.
Then
she
stood
up
and
began
to
serve
Jesus.
16
That
evening
people
brought
to
Jesus
many
who
had
demons.
Jesus
spoke
and
the
demons
left
them,
and
he
healed
all
the
sick.
17
He
did
these
things
to
bring
about
what
Isaiah
the
prophet
had
said:
"He
took
our
suffering
on
him
and
carried
our
diseases."
18
When
Jesus
saw
the
crowd
around
him,
he
told
his
followers
to
go
to
the
other
side
of
the
lake.
19
Then
a
teacher
of
the
law
came
to
Jesus
and
said,
"Teacher,
I
will
follow
you
any
place
you
go."
20
Jesus
said
to
him,
"The
foxes
have
holes
to
live
in,
and
the
birds
have
nests,
but
the
Son
of
Man
has
no
place
to
rest
his
head."
21
Another
man,
one
of
Jesus'
followers,
said
to
him,
"Lord,
first
let
me
go
and
bury
my
father."
22
But
Jesus
told
him,
"Follow
me,
and
let
the
people
who
are
dead
bury
their
own
dead."
23
Jesus
got
into
a
boat,
and
his
followers
went
with
him.
24
A
great
storm
arose
on
the
lake
so
that
waves
covered
the
boat,
but
Jesus
was
sleeping.
25
His
followers
went
to
him
and
woke
him,
saying,
"Lord,
save
us!
We
will
drown!"
26
Jesus
answered,
"Why
are
you
afraid?
You
don't
have
enough
faith."
Then
Jesus
got
up
and
gave
a
command
to
the
wind
and
the
waves,
and
it
became
completely
calm.
27
The
men
were
amazed
and
said,
"What
kind
of
man
is
this?
Even
the
wind
and
the
waves
obey
him!"
28
When
Jesus
arrived
at
the
other
side
of
the
lake
in
the
area
of
the
Gadarenen
people,
two
men
who
had
demons
in
them
met
him.
These
men
lived
in
the
burial
caves
and
were
so
dangerous
that
people
could
not
use
the
road
by
those
caves.
29
They
shouted,
"What
do
you
want
with
us,
Son
of
God?
Did
you
come
here
to
torture
us
before
the
right
time?"
30
Near
that
place
there
was
a
large
herd
of
pigs
feeding.
31
The
demons
begged
Jesus,
"If
you
make
us
leave
these
men,
please
send
us
into
that
herd
of
pigs."
32
Jesus
said
to
them,
"Go!"
So
the
demons
left
the
men
and
went
into
the
pigs.
Then
the
whole
herd
rushed
down
the
hill
into
the
lake
and
were
drowned.
33
The
herdsmen
ran
away
and
went
into
town,
where
they
told
about
all
of
this
and
what
had
happened
to
the
men
who
had
demons.
34
Then
the
whole
town
went
out
to
see
Jesus.
When
they
saw
him,
they
begged
him
to
leave
their
area.

"Go!"
He

So
when

they
entered
the

And
suddenly
the
whole
